Three weeks ago, I posted Joe Biden’s video in which he conveyed a message to the Muslim community in the United States
At the time posted, I was not aware of the underlying meaning of the following statement:
“I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say, “Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith”
Biden is actually quoting from a Hadith, which gives a broader interpretation of an important Islamic principle mentioned in the Qur'an that indeed drives quite a few Islamic currents, including Salafis, and yes, the Muslim Brotherhood as well:
Commandment of good and prohibition of evil – الأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر
Theologically this principle grants Muslims of different branches of Islam the right (in some cases even the obligation) to be responsible for the actions of others.
This means when a Muslim brother encounters another person who’s practice doesn’t comply with the rules of Islam he is obligated to mend that person’s ways and actions. This is the cause and the reason for “Da‘wah” (Muslim preaching and propaganda) worldwide and also common justification for Jihad (fight against infidels) to enforce this important principle.
First try by force. If this doesn’t succeed in reaching your goal, try to convince verbally. If both have failed, try through the heart where the weakness of faith lies.
The ultimate goal is to implement Sharia law into the country which has a built-in separation between religion and statehood.
Now I doubt Biden’s awareness of his own words in general; especially when it comes to quotes from the Holy Quran… But I’m quite disturbed by the ability of Biden’s advisors to implement such subcontext messages in the speeches of a presidential nominee.
I’ve recently posted on Biden’s entourage and the messages they deliver.

And another “talent” is Nihad Awad, who took part in the 1993 meeting which initiated the funding of Hamas by America and Europe. Today, he’s one of the notable speakers of Muslim in the United States: https://bit.ly/2DV76DA
A wise old saying is “Judge those by whom they surround themselves with”, or “Birds of a feather flock together”.. Biden is undoubtedly surrounding himself with some very questionable people, delivering a questionable message.
